The Horticultural Technician Pre-Apprenticeship Program at Loyalist College combines on-the-job training with classroom instruction, allowing students to earn while they learn and preparing them for in-demand careers. This 34 week, free training program is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development and is delivered by Landscape Ontario in partnership with Loyalist College in Belleville, Ont. Program Eligibility

This program will take place in-person in the Belleville, Ontario area over 34 weeks beginning July 15, 2024. Program participants must: be at least 18 years old, have completed grade 12, be legally allowed to work in Canada, and be unemployed or employed less than 20 hours per week.
