    Thank you for your interest in the Career Advancement Program (CAP) through Landscape Ontario's GROW Program. The mission of this program is to provide free training to employees in the industry to help them with career development.

    Each employee you enter below will be sent an email with a link to an SDF application form. They should be encouraged to complete this as soon as possible in order to streamline the process for approval

    • In order for your employees and their training costs to be approved for funding through the CAP program, they must complete the SDF forms that will be emailed to them upon submission as well as have an approved "Training Plan". This "Training Plan" must be created for each participant - unlesss the training is delivered through one of the accredited providers below :

      • International Society of Arboriculture
      • Irrigation Association
      • Landscape Ontario Seminars
      • Post Secondary Courses
      • Workplace Safety & Prevention Services
      • Canadian Nursery and Landscape Association (CNLA)
      • Association of Ontario Road Supervisors
    • Given that you will be submitting approval for a custom training plan, you will be required to book a meeting with a LO representative after you submit this form. We are happy to develop a custom plan with other providers, as long as it meets our criteria and supports the development and advancement of the learner!

  • Next Steps:

    After you click submit, you'll receive an email detailing the next steps in the process for this application. Typically, one of two things will occur :

    1. If you require a meeting to develop a custom training plan, we will reach out to set up a time to meet. In the meantime, your employees should complete their SDF form applications that will be sent to their emails.

    2. If you have selected an accreditted training provider for all employees, then you will be notified when all have been submitted and approved and you'll be invited to submit proof of payment for reimbursement.
