The Landscape Ontario Designers Sector Group has dedicated $3000 annually to support the cost of the Certified Landscape Designer (CLD) examination for graduating students or recent post-secondary graduates from a landscape design or related program within Ontario.
Bursary Details
Total Annual Fund: $3,000
Individual Award: $325.00 (This is a one-time award per recipient)
Payment: Funds are paid directly to the CNLA on the recipient's behalf to cover the CLD examination fee.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Be a recent graduate (i.e., have graduated within 12 months of this application) from a recognized Ontario post-secondary landscape design program.
Demonstrate financial need that presents a barrier to writing the certification exam.
Be registered (or in the process of registering) for the CNLA Certified Landscape Designer examination.
Applicants pursuing certification as a Certified Landscape Designer are required to register with the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) at https://cnlagetcertified.ca/ registration/.
The applicant may not be from a landscape design program. Landscape Tech and Hort Tech may also apply if they have the skill or even a BLA if you are open to university education.
